Hard to get around with drought and fencing over the past years.  Still had a good time at Fall and Spring trials.

Great looking grounds, only a few birds found but lots of spear grass.  Should review these grounds again for early spring or late fall.

Believes the grounds/courses were excellent and every dog had bird contacts.
Needs support from Region club members!

While setting Courses birds were seen. Birds were small, and many dogs had problems finding them during the trial.

All Age Championship: Lou
4 Region 14 dogs; 36 non-Region entries

Region 14 Shooting Dog Championship at Stoughton, SK

Club dates, see attached.

H.     Election of 2006 Executives:
Sheldon Rogers stays as 2nd VP
Steve Short elected as 1st VP
                  Tom Nygard moves to President
                  Jeanette Heise staying as Secretary/Treasurer.

Sheldon made the comment that it would be of help in making decisions if there were alternates to help if/when an executive decision had to be made when there was a conflict of interest with others on the Executive.  Suggestion was to use Presidents of member clubs to help make decisions with remaining Executives when the Executive staff is diminished.

I.    Limited Stake Request from Steve Short, GSP Club.

With regards to May 6-7 and/or Sept 9-10, 2006 trial dates, GSP Club would like to run three venues: Horseback Stake, Retrieving Stake and a Walking Stake.  Since the CKC allows only 2 SD Stakes a trial adding the third with AFTCA regulations lets them run another stake.  The AFTCA stake may not be the one used for the limitations, but if they choose to do so they have the option.

Motion:  If GSP Club chooses this year (2006) to run a stake with a possible limited Shooting Dog stake, limitations being dogs must have a placement in either a Derby or Shooting Dog Stake, points will still count toward Dog of the Year. Passed.

9.  Adjournment with Supper at Montana’s
.
10.  Dog of the Year Awards (See Attached Sheet) and Club Social
